Who we are

Roopa Unnikrishnan has almost two decades of experience in roles where she has seeded and driven change and innovation in several Fortune 500 companies.

Roopa works with Consumer Goods, Education and Technology clients, helping them establish and improve key processes around strategic planning, innovation space identification and idea development. A master coach, she works with senior executives to drive personal and career change.

Sree Sreenivasan is a consultant, speaker, and trainer for nonprofits, corporations, startups, and executives. He is the Marshall Loeb Visiting Professor of Digital Innovation & Audience Engagement at Stony Brook University and is the former Chief Digital Officer for New York City, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and Columbia University.

He was named Fast Company’s 100 Most Creative People in Business 2015 and Poynter Institute’s 35 most influential in social media.

Ray Liu has worked with companies across the New York tri-state area, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small start-ups, and in industries such as financial and professional services, consumer and luxury goods, telecommunications and more. He has designed tools to help his clients set appropriate strategic growth targets, plan workforce expansion, and optimize organizational structures to achieve breakthrough results. His most recent projects include leading the policy revision and analytics workstreams for a major clothing retailer’s future of work initiative, project managing an org transformation for a large industrials client looking to centralize its services from a siloed business-focused model, and developing a business intelligence reporting framework for a fashion accessories company during a reorganization. Prior to starting his own consulting practice, Ray had worked as market research consultant at the Nielsen Company and as a human capital consultant for Mercer in Singapore. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA in Economics and Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. Ray is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute

Lauren Laplante is a Midwesterner at heart but a global citizen. She has spent most of her career supporting attorneys but has a special interest in strategy, sustainability and innovation after working with Roopa in her most recent role.

In her free time she enjoys finding new recipes to try and is currently in the process of getting her Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling part-time as she consults with Center10.

Aparna Mukerjee has more than two decades of experience in operations, strategy, and communications, Aparna’s expertise spans private, public, and philanthropic sectors, leading innovation projects and teams for some of the world’s largest news outlets, consultancies, investment banks, and tech companies. At McKinsey & Co, Aparna developed the strategy for Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter, as the firm’s first social media editor, working with partners, consultants, and C-suite leaders to develop social listening programs and thought leadership focused on the future of work, Big Data and AI, sustainability, near-shoring, and circular economy, among other global themes.As senior product lead for The New York Times Company, she ran the media giant’s online education ventures group, launching proprietary LMS (learning management system) software and partnering with the country’s largest universities and community colleges, plus the Project Management Institute (PMI) to develop and deliver hundreds of course modules and training programs. Most recently, Aparna served as a JSK Impact Fellow, exploring user-centered design and machine learning at Stanford’s d.school to develop a range of products, including prototyping civic tech pilots to promote climate action and home healthcare devices to help women better track and translate biomarkers. She is also co-creator of Sense LA, a set of systems thinking, participatory art workshops to discover and amplify new ideas from community members in city planning and budgeting.
